Grace Episcopal Church of Galion
GRACE CHURCH TODAY
Just who are we at Grace Church?

We are families and single adults.  We are young, old, and somewhere in-between.  During the week, we work in schools, with computer networks, and in courtrooms.  We are retirees, elementary schoolchildren, and college professors.

Whatever we are, we share a common commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ and to serving our neighbors in need.

Listed below are some of the areas in which Grace Church is currently active.
Grace Church is one of six founding members of the Cooperative Christian Services of Galion, our city's ecumenical outreach ministry.  From its service to families in need of emergency utility assistance, to its plans to initiate aid to seniors with prescription drug costs, this program is supported in part by Grace contributions, through a volunteer parish member on the organization's board, and by grants received from the Episcopal Community Services Foundation of the Diocese of Ohio.
At Grace Church we share a love of children.  We offer our youth an increasing number of educational and service opportunities, from acolyting to catchecism in conjunction with First Lutheran Church of Galion.  A teenage/young adult group is currently forming; details to follow.  We are hooked on families at Grace.
We love music at Grace Church.  Each Sunday, our hand-crafted 1961 Blanchard pipe organ leads us in song.  The annual Christmas Songfest is another wonderful Grace tradition.  In years past, this event has attracted soloists, choruses, youth groups and other guest artists.

WORSHIP

Worship is both an individual and collective experience.  We are blessed with the regular visits from a supply priest.  Also, a Christian contemplative meditation experience is enjoyed each Wednesday evening by members and friends alike.
